QuickStart is a simple
launcher for items in your Start Menu, Favorites, etc.
I Wrote
the program when I started to develop RSI (Computer Related
Repetitive Strain Injury).
Especially when using the Windows
Start Menu I found my fingers tingling and my eyes searching.
I
hope you will find QuickStart as useful as I do. If you do, drop me

Type a keyword and press
ENTER, this will list all (partial) matching items in a dropdown
list.
Select the item you want to launch with the UP and DOWN
arrow keys and press ENTER.
Press SHIFT + ENTER or CTRL +
ENTER to open the directory of the program you want to launch in
Windows Explorer.
Press ESCAPE to cancel and clear your
selection. Press ESCAPE again to hide/close QuickStart.
Typing a valid directory or network path like "c:\temp" or
"\\server" will launch explorer.
Typing a valid url like
"www.digiarch.org" will launch the default browser.
The Hot-key (default F4) will show QuickStart from the system
tray.
Use the right mouse button for options like settings, help,
reload directories,
etc.

-minimize
The
mimimize switch is used to start QuickStart mimimized in the tray.
Example:
c:\program files\quickstart\quickstart.exe –minimize |

no limitations).
